Ingredients

  • For Dumpling Wrapper:
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Warm water – ~½ cup (as needed)
  • For Veggie Filling:
  • Finely chopped cabbage – ½ cup
  • Grated carrot – ¼ cup
  • Chopped onion or spring onions – ¼ cup
  • Finely chopped capsicum – ¼ cup
  • Garlic (minced) – 2 cloves
  • Coconut Aminos Garlic – 3 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – a pinch

Instructions

  1. Make Dumpling Dough:Mix flour and salt in a bowl,Gradually add warm water and knead into a soft, smooth dough,Cover and rest for 20 minutes.

  2. Prepare Veggie Filling: Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 secs,Add chopped veggies and stir-fry for 3–4 mins,Add Coconut Aminos Garlic, pepper, and salt. Mix well,Cook till dry and flavorful. Let it cool.

  3. Roll Dumpling Wrappers:Divide rested dough into small balls,Roll each into thin circles (~3 inches),Keep them lightly floured so they don’t stick.

  4. Assemble Dumplings: Place a spoon of veggie filling in the center of each wrapper,Fold into half-moon shape and seal edges (pinch or pleat style),Make sure they are tightly sealed.

  5. Cook Dumplings Steam in a greased steamer for 10–12 minutes.
