Coconut Milk Panna Cotta (Dairy-Free)

Ingredients

  • Coconut Milk – 2 cups (full-fat for creaminess)
  • Coconut Sugar – ¼ cup (adjust to taste)
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  • Agar-Agar Powder – 1½ tsp (or 1½ tsp gelatin if not vegan)
  • Water – ¼ cup (to dissolve agar or gelatin)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix agar-agar powder with ¼ cup water. Let it soak for 5 minutes.In a saucepan, pour 2 cups coconut milk. Add sugar and vanilla.Heat gently over medium flame, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.

  2. Add the dissolved agar-agar into the warm coconut milk. Stir continuously and bring to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes until the agar is fully melted.

  3. Turn off the heat. Pour the mixture into serving glasses or silicone moulds.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.

  5. Unmould or serve directly in cups. Top with:Fresh fruits (mango, berries, kiwi), Fruit compote,Toasted coconut flakes, Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
