Ingredients

  • Mushrooms (button or cremini) – 2 cups (finely chopped)
  • Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
  • Garlic – 3–4 cloves (minced)
  • Coconut Aminos Natural – 2 tbsp
  • Cooked rice or breadcrumbs – ½ cup (for binding)
  • Chickpea flour or oat flour – 2 tbsp (optional, for extra binding)
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Oil – for pan-frying
  • Fresh herbs (coriander or parsley) – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Mix,Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan,Add onions and garlic. Sauté until soft,Add mushrooms and cook on medium heat until they release moisture and turn dry (about 7–8 mins),Add Coconut Aminos, pepper, and a little salt. Cook for 1 more minute,Let it cool slightly.

  2. Make the Patties,Transfer the mixture to a bowl,Add cooked rice or breadcrumbs and chickpea flour,Mix everything well and shape into 4–5 patties. If too sticky, chill for 10–15 minutes.

  3. Cook the Patties,Heat oil in a pan,Shallow fry the patties on medium heat for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and firm.
