Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter – ½ cup (softened at room temperature)
  • Coconut milk powder – 4 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar (icing sugar) – 1½ to 2 cups (as needed for sweetness)
  • Vanilla extract – ½ tsp (optional)
  • Warm water – 2 to 3 tbsp (to make coconut milk paste)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Prepare Coconut Milk:
  • In a small bowl, mix 4 tbsp coconut milk powder with 2–3 tbsp warm water to make a thick, creamy coconut milk paste.
  • Stir well until smooth and lump-free. Let it cool if warm.

Instructions

  • Cream the Butter,Beat the soft butter using a hand mixer or whisk until it’s light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

  • Add Coconut Milk Paste,Add the prepared coconut milk paste to the butter and mix until well blended.

  • Add Sugar & Flavor,Gradually add powdered sugar, beating well after each addition,Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt if using.

  • Whip Until Fluffy,Beat for another 2–3 minutes until the frosting is smooth, fluffy, and spreadable,If too thick, add a few drops of water; if too thin, add more sugar.
