Grilled Paneer Skewers with Coconut Aminos Marinade

Ingredients

  • Paneer – 200 g (cut into cubes)
  • Capsicum (bell pepper) – 1 (cut into pieces)
  • Onion – 1 (cut into squares)
  • Coconut Aminos Natural – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp (optional)
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Thick curd (hung curd) – 1 tbsp (optional, for richness)
  • Salt – a pinch (Coconut aminos is mildly salty)
  • Oil – 1 tbsp (plus extra for brushing)
  • Skewers – soaked in water if wooden

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl mix:Coconut Aminos,Lemon juice,Ginger-garlic paste,Red chili powder,Turmeric,Black pepper,Salt,Oil (Optional: curd for creamy texture),Add paneer cubes, capsicum, and onion pieces. Mix gently to coat well,Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.

  • Assemble Skewers,Thread the marinated paneer, onion, and capsicum alternately on skewers.

  • Grill or Cook,Tawa or Pan Grill,Heat a non-stick pan or grill pan, brush with oil,Cook skewers on medium heat, turning occasionally, until golden and slightly charred (about 10 mins).
