Our manufacturing facilities are BRC-certified and FSSC 22000-compliant. Our coconut products are grown and processed in Tamil Nadu, India. Our coconut aminos, cinnamon, and select coconut derivatives are sourced through our partner operation in Sri Lanka. The same standards of certification and traceability apply to both.
1000 Farms has been building its organic coconut supply chain for over four years starting from direct farmer relationships in South India and Sri Lanka, earning our certification stack one audit at a time, and reaching the point where we are now ready to bring these products to conscious consumers worldwide.

Farming was never a business decision for me.

I came to agriculture through a long process of trying to understand what a meaningful life looks like. Through practice and stillness, I found that the land teaches things no classroom can. Patience. Cycles. The relationship between effort and outcome.
When I met my mentor, he told me something I have never forgotten: that through farming, you will understand not just life, but also death. That everything that grows must also end and that this is not something to fear, but something to work with.
That is the philosophy behind 1000 Farms. We are not just growing coconuts. We are building something that respects the land, the people who work it, and the people who eat from it. I believe the world needs more food businesses that start from this place. We are trying to be one of them.

We did not choose coconut because it was trending. We chose it because we could not find a more complete, more sustainable, more versatile crop on earth. Every part of the coconut — the oil, the sap, the sugar, the flour, the milk, the shell — is purposeful. Nothing is wasted. Everything nourishes.

Coconut oil and coconut-derived products are naturally rich in MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) — a form of fat the body converts directly into energy. Unlike refined carbohydrates, MCTs provide sustained fuel without the blood sugar spike. Clean energy for body and brain.

Zero-waste Processing
We honour the coconut by using every part of it — the meat, the sap, the water, the husk, the shell. From coconut oil to coconut flour to coconut aminos, our production process extracts value from every component. What cannot be used in food becomes eco-charcoal or natural fibre. Nothing leaves our process as waste.
Water conservation
We work directly with our partner farmers to implement drip irrigation and water-efficient growing methods, minimising the water footprint of every product. Coconut palms are inherently efficient crops requiring significantly less water than most commercial oil-producing plants. Our organic practices further reduce the chemical inputs that contaminate water sources in conventional agriculture.
Ethical farming & fair income
Our farmers are not suppliers they are partners. We ensure fair and above-market pricing, long-term supply agreements, and direct support for sustainable farming practices. The premium you pay for 1000 Farms products does not disappear into our margins. A meaningful portion flows back to the people who grew your food.
Packaging with adirection
We currently use premium glass for our liquid products, which is fully recyclable and infinitely reusable. We are actively working to transition every format in our range toward fully recyclable or compostable materials. We will publish our packaging roadmap publicly and hold ourselves accountable to it.
