How It's Made

Made from fresh, mature coconuts, our Virgin Coconut Oil is extracted without heat to preserve its natural nutrients. The coconut milk is carefully processed through a gentle, heat-free method to retain its antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It is then bottled in a premium glass bottle to ensure purity and long-lasting freshness.

Storage Information

Store in a cool, dark place. The oil will naturally solidify below 24°C (76°F) and liquefy above it; this is normal and does not affect quality. Avoid refrigeration as it can make the oil very hard.

Allergen Information

Contains Coconut. Our products are naturally gluten-free and soy-free. Please consult a healthcare provider if you have severe allergies.

FAQs

Pollachi in Tamil Nadu has one of the highest-density coconut belts in India, with a distinct microclimate that produces coconuts with high fat content and clean, neutral flavour. That directly translates into a richer, more aromatic oil — which is why we source exclusively from here and not from wherever's cheapest.

Regular refined coconut oil goes through bleaching, deodorising, and often chemical processing — by the end, most of the natural compounds are stripped out. Virgin cold-pressed oil skips all of that. We press the fresh white meat at low temperature, which keeps the natural MCTs, antioxidants, lauric acid, and aroma fully intact. It's the difference between a whole food and a processed one.

No, that's exactly what good virgin coconut oil does. It solidifies below around 24°C and melts above it. If your oil stays liquid in cold weather, that's actually a red flag — it likely means it's been refined or blended. The solid-to-liquid shift doesn't affect quality or nutrition in any way.

It's best suited for low to medium heat cooking — sautéing, light stir-frying, baking. The smoke point is around 177°C. For very high-heat cooking, use refined coconut oil or ghee. For everything else — curries, eggs, roasting vegetables — this is excellent.

Genuine cold-pressed virgin coconut oil has a distinct fresh coconut aroma and a faintly creamy colour. If an oil is completely colourless, odourless, and very thin in texture, it's almost certainly been refined regardless of what the label says. Ours is unbleached, undeodorised, and undergoes no chemical treatment — you'll notice the difference the moment you open the jar.

Yes — it's one of the cleanest carrier oils you can use. Apply warm to the scalp for deep conditioning, use as a body moisturiser, or as a gentle makeup remover. Because it's unrefined, it retains the natural fatty acids that actually benefit skin and hair — not just coat them.
